It was announced that British Gas were reducing standard gas prices by 10% beginning 19 Feb.

On-line tariffs were set to be decreased by approximately 10% also.

It transpires that Click6 has been reduced by 3.6% and Click5 by 6.6%,, This has a direct affect on 400,000 homes . Scottish & Southern: It is said that  gas prices will only fall by 4% . Electricity, on the other hand, will be cut by 9%, for each ad every tariffs.

However, this will not be put into effect until  31 March. This means that two out of six energy providers will be making cuts. In time, the rest possibly follow suit. In the meantime, it is advisable to wait to see if they reduce their prices, before you jump to another provider.
